We can't wait to get crafty with you. Here you will find the answers to some frequently asked questions to help you with your booking choice ;
Q. How many people can we have at our event?
A. That largely depends on the craft you choose. Block printing takes up a fair bit of space with paint trays and large printing mats, whereas bracelet making and paper and card crafts require less space, so where ever your venue, you'll need to bear this mind.
Q. Do you have a minimum number of participants?
A. Minimum numbers for all craft parties/workshops are 4 people. Please get in touch re.numbers if you have a corporate enquiry.
Q. Can children attend?
A. We specialise in craft events 'just for grown ups', where we aim for the atmosphere to be relaxed, fun and stress free. Sometimes our little darlings can demand more from us at a time when we just want it to be about us. We recommend children and pets are occupied elsewhere for the duration of your event so you can enjoy the full experience.
Q. Do you hold events for children?
A. There maybe special occasions where we offer events when children are welcome to join in - please watch out for announcements on our social media pages.
Q. How do you take payment?
A. Once all the details have been finalised by email, a deposit is required to hold your event booking, date and time. Full payment is required by bank transfer 10 days prior to your event.
Q. What happens if I need to cancel?
A. Sometimes life gets in the way. If you do need to cancel please let us know as soon as possible, at least 10 days before your booking,
and we'll happily arrange a refund, or an alternative date. If you cancel within 10 days of your event, only an alternative date may be offered.
Q. Someone dropped out at the last minute - do they get a refund?
A. Please let us know as soon as possible if someone drops out - we plan then order all our craft supplies especially for your event, so time is of the essence! If there is a very last minute cancellation of an individual(s), they will be offered a voucher to redeem at a later date for the individual amount paid for that workshop place.
Q. How easy/hard are the crafts?
A. We have marked our crafts with a 'fiddly' factor from 1 - 3, 1 being not fiddly at all and 3 being the most fiddly.
Bracelets and needle felting require a steady hand and a careful eye, whereas block printing and card making are great for total beginners.
Q. Where & when can we hold our event?
A. Anywhere within Bedfordshire and surrounding towns and villages, at hired venues such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, pubs or your own home.
We just need permission to be there and enough space to carry out our crafts.
Please be advised we may need access to a sink with running water for some crafts.
We can work evenings, weekends, and weekdays.
Please get in touch if your event is outside of Bedfordshire, travel expenses may be incurred outside of this area.
